Ubin trip was great. Thanks peeps. Jasmin, rhod, jaz, har, chest etc...
niwei, had great fun decorating the small little 'cottage'. wif budget below 20dol. all the balloons and deco sparked the xmas mood. luv it! ;P

The games were fun too. Rho ended up tokin cock with me at the end of the nite. a can of carls then you knock down liao uh? haiz...;)

niwei, MOS was another thing i'd love to say. Cld see rhoda was delighted. kept beaming. haha... dance dance dance. the next day kena headache.woke up at 5pm uh. I'm worse. 6pm. lol

xmas is coming... I hope it's a better one this year.. thk god for all the blessings..

I miss home... wanna go back but archi work is taking too much time..haiz...
Wanting to go KL too but cousin has gone back by the time...hmm...
guess, am just gonna spend a quiet xmas here in sg.. chill out with frens at pub n shop... well, archiers, am lookin forward to the ubin trip...make sure it's successful ok? jasmin...?haha...no pressure..

well peeps, supposed to blog this yest but was held up with something... and was real tired..

Yesterday was another daiko performance...
location- Asian Civilisation Museum

Elsevier Dinner and Dance 2006

' Cinema, Cinema, Cinema'

River Room, level 2

I arrived earlier than my members after workout and checked out the place and the stage... here's how the stage looks like.

Basically we've to perform in this circus-like squarish stage in a circular manner where audience could see us from all angles...

We came slightly late... thus had no choice but to shift these drums very quickly..here they are on the stage...

The event was a dinner and dance for elsevier...a company which deals with entertainment i guess... all the guests were dressed up in costumes... i saw a cat woman, prince, priest, king, santa claus etc... they thrilled me with all these lil costumes..with that thought, i believe our performance tat nite is gonna b a great one...

So, upon waiting, we took a couple of snapshots amongst us...

There i was wif frederick, heryanto and mulias...we'r all set to perform.

and look at how united we are...

Time eventually called for our performance...we had a school of 'movie characters' watchin us... look at wat they were wearing...

The performance was good however the audience was stunned... guess they expected more... we were told to play just for an opening which lasted for mere 5mins...

outside after the performance, the organiser wasnt happy... he thought it's supp to be 15mins... he's kinda afraid of losing his image with his client.. we were told off, though nt directly...however, it wasnt our fault.. the email didnt state 'a 15mins long performance' after we checked at home... and we were all puzzled at that point of time.. sigh...niwei, juniors did great job! thanks for the support... and zhicai, admire ur patience..

So aft the performance, i walked towards cityhall mrt.. acm was so great looking at nite..managed to take a couple picts of it alongside some other picts i secured during the short trip to mrt station..

and along the way, was wondering wat this group of people was doing late at night...illegal gathering...demonstration?:P

My stomach was protesting by the time i reached the station..decided to go to pepper lunch at velocity,novena... din noe it's closed at 10 since there wasnt any sign stating;.. i happily stepped in...the cashier was uncertain of serving me... asked the chef whether he could cook for one more customer.. he spoke in mandarin, ' We are closed already".. the very nice cashier assured him... and i managed to fill my stomach..was the v last customer and they still treated me nicely...with much patience and smile... love them! thanks for the food chef...yummy, curry beef rice..
